Transfer to Wilpattu: (Approx. 4.5–5 hours) – the largest and one of the oldest national parks in Sri Lanka.

Check-In: Eco-lodge or safari campsite near Wilpattu

Evening Safari (Optional): Explore the dense forest and waterholes—spot leopards, sloth bears, and deer.

Dinner at Campfire (Optional): Enjoy a bush-style dinner under the stars.

Overnight: Wilpattu

Early Morning Jeep Safari:

• Explore Wilpattu’s thick jungle and lakes. Look out for leopards, elephants, spotted deer, and birdlife.

Return to Lodge: Breakfast & check-out

Transfer to Sigiriya / Dambulla: (Approx. 3.5–4 hours)

Optional Stop: Aukana Buddha Statue or Mihintale en route

Overnight: Sigiriya / Dambulla

Morning: Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress or Dambulla Cave Temple

Afternoon Safari:

• Enjoy a jeep safari in Minneriya National Park (or Kaudulla / Hurulu, depending on elephant movement)

• Witness the “Gathering” of wild elephants—often hundreds around water tanks

Evening: Relax at the hotel

Overnight: Sigiriya / Dambulla

After Breakfast: Drive to Kandy (Approx. 2.5–3 hours)

En Route: Visit Matale Spice Garden – learn about herbal medicines and local spices

In Kandy:

• Visit Temple of the Tooth Relic

• Walk around the Kandy Lake, and explore the local market

Optional: Attend a Kandyan cultural dance performance

Overnight: Kandy

Early Departure: Transfer to Udawalawe (Approx. 5.5–6 hours)

Afternoon Safari:

• Jeep safari at Udawalawe National Park – famous for its large herds of elephants, buffalo, jackals, and birds

Visit: Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home – observe orphaned elephants being cared for

Overnight: Udawalawe or nearby safari lodge

Morning: Leisure breakfast at the lodge

Optional: Short nature trail or birdwatching walk before check-out

Drive back to Colombo / Airport: (Approx. 4–5 hours)
